For a long time I have wanted to create a picture that looks like somebody just sketched a drawing, without using too much editing. Tiina Lamberg, my makeup artist, had the same kinds of ideas, she wanted to try out some new techniques. We had the perfect model for the job, the incredible Nina. She´s out of this world, we suspect she´s not even human since everything about her is so amazing. We knew she would be the perfect candidate for this shoot. The shoot itself was really simple. Even the makeup was pretty simple to do. It felt kind of strange that such cool pictures didn´t really need that much time and effort. Just an idea and some action. I felt I had some troubles while editing, I wanted to do stuff in photoshop, but the picture really didn´t need it...so I had to learn to let go. Just keeping it simple, sometimes it´s the best thing you can give an image.
